Yellow red body with brighter elytra; tips of antennae, scutellum, and a wide rim that forms a ring in front of the tip on the elytra, black; the pronotum flat as glass; coarse puncture-stripes with flat, glossy interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1863].
