General description: 

Rusty red body with two metallic brown wisps on the elytra; the pronotum flat as glass; the puncture-stripes fine at the top, deeply engraved on the sides, the sixth and seventh worn off, with curved, glossy interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1863].
