Dark gold-green on top; rusty red underneath; a disappearing hind and longitudinal band of the flat pronotum, as well as a root- and mid-cross band of the elytra, rusty red; fine puncture-stripes with flat, glossy interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1858].
