General description:
Generalized form, that is, oval, short. Pronotum globular elevated [produced], rounded posteriorly, with elytra strongly angled apically. Unicolored, brownish-reddish-rust colored, pronotum of similar color but darker. Slight yellowish-orange coloration borders anterior and lateral margin, as well as the base of the elytra and more broadly on both lateral margins. Elytra strongly striate-punctate. Legs: These are short, brownish-rust colored, tibiae darker distally particularly hind legs, with abundant short setae towards apices. Tarsi moderately broad, claws almost black. (Translated from Zayas, 1960: 156).
