General description:
Straw-yellow on top side of body; head, ends of antennae, and scutellum, black; black underneath; the roots of thighs and the rim of the abdomen, somewhat yellow; flat pronotum; very coarse puncture-stripes, with rib-shaped, rather glossy interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1866].
Distribution:
"Identified in Museum Clark (e collect. Laferte) only questionably as South American. Based on its habitat and the structure of its scutellum, I [would designate] its place of origin only as the Antilles or northern South America." [Translated from Suffrian, 1866].
