Cryptocephalus patulus Suffrian,1866

General description: 

Murky yellow body; tips of antennae, black; a cross-spot on the densely and finely punctured pronotum, the scutellum, the front seam and a dark band in front of the tip of the elytra, dull metallic green; moderate puncture-stripes, the sixth and seventh shortened, with flat interspaces smoothly curved on the sides. Distribution: 

Caracas, Venezuela (obtained by Mr. Wagner), and French Guiana (Museum Clark).
