General description: 

Rusty red body; the rims of the flat pronotum, the root, tip, and a number of the spots along the elytra, washed-out yellow; glossy, smoothly curved interspaces, the sixth and seventh stripes broken off behind the shoulder humps. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1858].
