General description: 

Straw-yellow body; the darker pronotum, the seam of the elyta, the tips of antennae, almost black; the pronotum flat as glass; coarse puncture-stripes, the seventh and eighth interrupted; with glossy interspaces that are more strongly curved in front. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1863].
