General description: 

Greenish crimson on top with brown outer rims, rusty brown underneath; the pronotum dispersedly punctured; the elytra deeply indented at the sides with an unclear cross-wrinkle; coarse puncture-stripes with curved interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1858].
