General description: 

Bright yellow body; tips of antennae, shins and feet, with lower half of the thighs, black; the pronotum flat as glass; the puncture-stripes soon become fainter after very coarse front ends, with smoothly curved, rather glossy interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1863].
