General description: 

Rusty yellow body, ends of feelers and legs black; the pronotum flat as glass, the dots and dashes very fine, with flat, glassy interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1863].

Distribution: 

Northern Brazil (the specimens in Museum Deyrolle are from Pernambuco; those in Museum Baly, from the Amazon River). [Translated from Suffrian, 1863].
