General description: 

Yellow body; the pronotum flat as glass; the elytra bearing nine brown spots; very smoothly curved interspaces, flowing together with the cross field through the almost absent sixth and seventh stripes. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1858].

Distribution: 

"Widely distributed in Mexico, as it seems. (From Chalapa [Chapala]—Museum Berol., from Veracruz—Museum Chevrol.; from Oaxaca—Museum Sommer. Additionally, I also have the beetle from Museum Deyrolle, without special indication of its place of origin.)" [Translated from Suffrian, 1858].
