Black body; roots of antennae and elytra, straw-yellow; the pronotum clearly, dispersedly punctured; coarse puncture-stripes lightly indented in furrows at the back, with interspaces that are flat on top, more strongly curved at the sides. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1866].
