Cryptocephalus incommodus Suffrian,1863
General description:
Yellow red body; lighter side of the smooth pronotum, antennae tips, foot segments, a spot on the shoulder, and a cross-band on the elytra that sometimes hangs with the shoulder spot and is shortened at the back, black; coarse puncture-stripes with flat, glossy interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1863].
Distribution:
"Buenos Aires (Museum Berol., from Müller) and Brazil (from Virmond). Specimens in Museums Baly and Haag were undoubtedly from Brazil, even though no place of origin had been identified for the former, and the latter was evidently erroneously identified as originally from Michigan." [Translated from Suffrian, 1863].
