General description:
Sulfur-yellow body; dark front-spots on the flat pronotum, tips of antennae, and seam of the elytra, black; the roots and a cross-band towards the back of the elytra, red brown; the puncture-stripes coarse, the sixth and seventh, worn off; glossy, rib-shaped interspaces. [Translated from the original German in Suffrian, 1863].
